A little bit about me.

Thank you for checking out my website! My debut novel, The Root of John’s Happiness is currently out in paperback & on kindle! As for myself, my name is Michaila Oberhoffer and I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm always drawn to philosophical theories and writing about anything that considers the development of sociological structures as the backbone of my novels. I grew up finding myself intrigued by everything around me and this caused me to bounce around different careers from teaching to culinary school and anything of interest in between but when I picked up writing again seven years ago I realized who I was and what I was truly passionate about. When all is said and done for the day, I love nothing more than sitting back on a Foggy day in the Bay Area, drinking a beer and cuddling up with my seventeen year old cat Taffy.
